Aggressive, Professional, Personal Representation

A Home-Grown Law Firm

Choosing who will represent your interests in a legal matter is an extremely important decision. I know that you have many options in the Louisville metro area, which is why I want to take the time to tell you more about myself. I am Bryan R. Armstrong at Bryan R. Armstrong, Attorney at Law. I established my private practice in the same city where I was born and raised.

As a general practitioner, I believe that there is a difference between telling clients, “I can handle your matter” and, “I have successfully handled matters such as yours.” During my career, I have spent time honing my skills on both sides of the table. I have handled many disputes, including collections and contract disputes, insurance defense, medical and dental malpractice, car wrecks, dog bites and wrongful death, with a focus on personal injury cases.

Learn more about my background:

I had the honor of being featured in the magazine Louisville Business First, read the article, in which I talk about life as a solo practitioner and how it benefits my clients. I’ve been selected for inclusion in Kentucky Super Lawyers since 2021, and prior to that, Kentucky Rising Stars, from 2015 to 2019. These rare distinctions are a testament to the level of skill that I bring to my practice.

Insider Experience In Insurance Law

I know how insurance companies work because I have worked for them. I know who to contact to keep the process moving, what adjusters look for when approving or denying claims, how to build an effective strategy to use in your case against them, and how to increase the value of your claim.

My legal career began in 2007, when I joined the Kentucky Bar Association and began working for Darby & Gazak, P.S.C. As an attorney at a well-known medical defense firm, I was required to balance several major cases without sacrificing results. I worked as a prosecutor earning valuable courtroom experience. As an attorney at Krauser & Brown, I was able to litigate many premises liability and auto defense cases. This experience gave me a unique perspective on several industries, making me more effective in personal injury and civil litigation matters.

Heavily Involved In The Louisville Community

In addition to my experience, I am a member of the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. I am the current President of the Louisville Bar Association, and previously served as chair of the solo practitioner section of the LBA. In 2013, I was Section Chair of the year of the Louisville Bar Association. In 2018, I was named a fellow of the Louisville Bar Foundation as well as selected to the Board of the Louisville Bar Association. I’ve been on the executive board of the Louisville Bar Association since 2018 and on the executive board from 2020 to 2022. I served as LBA Secretary in 2021, and in 2022, I held positions as treasurer and vice president.

I’ve also been involved in my community, through the interACT Board of Actors Theatre from 2012-2016 and graduated from the Ignite Louisville Program of Leadership in 2015. I am an Eagle Scout and a member of Give502 as well as a Board member for the David L. Armstrong Expansion Project for Jefferson Memorial Forest. I have been the president of my fraternity, Delta Phi. I am married to Cassie Chambers Armstrong, an author and attorney. Together we have a cat, Spaghetti, and a dog, Brixton. I promise to fight as hard for your family as I would for my own.
